More Climate-Neutral Transport with HHLA Pure!
In 2024, our teams in Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic transported 15,706 TEUs in a climate-neutral manner – a significant increase from the previous year.
Thanks to our partnership with HHLA Pure, we continue to drive sustainable logistics solutions and reduce emissions along the supply chain. The initiative, developed by HHLA Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG and METRANS Group, reduces CO₂ emissions by using energy-efficient rail transport, electrified terminal operations, and offsetting any remaining emissions through certified climate protection projects.
Volumes shipped with HHLA Pure in 2024:
- cargo-partner Hungary: 8,225 TEUs
- cargo-partner Slovakia: 4,870 TEUs
- cargo-partner Czech Republic: 2,611 TEUs
