Luca Ferrara, CEO of cargo-partner, stated: “Romania has always played a vital role in our regional network. Our strong footprint in Central and Eastern Europe is one of the cornerstones of our global success and was also a decisive factor in our integration into the Nippon Express Group (NX Group). Together, we are now even better positioned to serve our customers worldwide.”

Since opening its first office near Otopeni Airport in Bucharest in 2000, cargo-partner Romania has grown into one of the country’s leading logistics providers. Today, the company operates six offices in Bucharest, Timișoara, Cluj, Sibiu, Iași and Constanța, and manages modern warehouses in Bucharest, Timișoara and Cluj. cargo-partner’s service portfolio in Romania covers air, sea, road, and rail transport, complemented by contract logistics solutions and digital supply chain management.

“What makes cargo-partner unique is our personal commitment,” said Cosmin Bradea, Managing Director of cargo-partner Romania. “For 25 years, our motto ‘we take it personally’ has guided everything we do – from serving our customers and developing our people to investing in sustainable and digital logistics solutions.”

Celebrating a Milestone with Customers and Partners
To mark this anniversary, cargo-partner hosted a customer and partner appreciation event on October 16, 2025, at Fratelli Studio 1 in Bucharest. The evening brought together industry partners, customers, and colleagues from across the region to celebrate 25 years of collaboration and success.

The celebration featured live music by the Horia Brenciu & Orchestra and speeches by cargo-partner and NX Group leadership, including CEO Luca Ferrara, Deputy CEO Toshihide Kishimoto, Executive Director Central Eastern Europe Tomas Zeman, and Managing Director Romania Cosmin Bradea.

One of the distinguished guests in attendance was His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan in Romania, Mr. Takashi Katae, who also delivered a congratulatory speech. In addition, Attila Becze, Director Sub-Region Hungary and Romania, presented a commemorative gift on behalf of Nippon Express Germany and shared a few words with the guests.

Luca Ferrara expressed his appreciation for the Romanian team’s contribution to the group’s success, highlighting their commitment, resilience, and strong team spirit as key factors behind cargo-partner’s growth in the region.

The anniversary comes at a time of strong strategic momentum for cargo-partner. Following its integration into the NX Group in January 2024, the company has expanded its reach across the globe, combining NX’s global strength with cargo-partner’s deep regional expertise in Eastern Europe.
